Which browsers work best with our website?

To ensure a smooth online experience with Vanguard, it’s important to keep your browser updated. This can improve the speed of your device and provide more online protection. You can typically update using your browser’s settings.

Outdated browsers can have serious security flaws. For example, Microsoft no longer supports Internet Explorer. Using an unsupported browser can leave you exposed to cybersecurity attacks that may read or damage your files, steal your passwords, or infect your device with viruses.

Help with online account access

Forgot username or password: Verify your identity to retrieve your username. Then, you have the option to log in or create a new password.

Change username: Call Vanguard at 877-662-7447, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Eastern time. Re-registration will initiate a seven-day hold on certain transactions.

For individuals with speech or hearing limitations, please utilize relay service, video relay service, or 711 to call us.

Device Recognition: There are many factors that contribute to your recognition, including but not limited to device, browser, and location. If our website doesn’t recognize you, you can select skip (two-factor authentication) when you want the device you are on remembered for future logins. This selection will reset every 90 days for your security.
